Agroecology and Food Sovereignty in the Kitchen, a face-to-face meeting in an outdoor courtyard, with distance, protocol and limited capacity.

The programme includes (Argentina time zone):

  • 11 am: Celebrating Terra Madre 2020 – Presentation of the “Western Agroecological Market” with testimonies from producers, towards the first Slow Food Earth Market.
  • 11:30 am: Interview with Quique Viale, author of the book “The ecological collapse is here” – a compass for getting out of (bad) development, by Karina Ocampo and Juan Alaimes.
  • 12 pm: Testimonies from the community pots and canteens of the Conurbano Bonaerense. A talk on solidarity actions in the time of Covid 19 with Paola Giordani and Paula Silveira.
  • 1 pm: Journalist Karina Ocampo will talk about her book project “The Path of Maize” and the research she carried out in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Mexico. Travel story.
  • 2 pm: Martin Crespi, Pachamamita Books – puppets and stories for children.

And to conclude a tasting of the Slow Food cuisine. Bring your plate and cutlery!

  • 12hs: Testimonios de las ollas y comedores comunitarios del Conurbano Bonaerense. Conversatorio sobre acciones de Solidaridad en Covid 19 junto a Paola Giordani y Paula Silveira.
  • 13hs: La periodista Karina Ocampo hablará sobre el proyecto de su libro “El camino del maíz” y la investigación que realizó por Argentina, Bolivia, Perú y México. Relato de viaje.
  • 14hs: Martín Crespi, Pachamamita Libros – títeres y cuentos para niños y niñas.
