A gala dinner organized during the 5th edition of the Italian Cuisine Week to promote the Italian culinary art in the Croatian capital.

On Thursday, November 26, in the restaurant of the hotel Le Premier, Chef Cosattini, accompanied by another chef from the Kul In Cooking School of Sisak, will prepare some typical Italian dishes. Guests will also have the opportunity to listen to two representatives of Slow Food International and of the Dignano Slow Food Community (Istria), who will talk about the enhancement of biodiversity and experiences in Southeast Europe and the preservation of the agro-food heritage in Istria.

In particular, the program includes (Zagreb time zone):

  • 6:45 pm: Guests reception.
  • 7 pm: Greeting of the Ambassador Pierfrancesco Sacco and presentation of the menu prepared by chefs Stefano Cosattini and Zdravko Perić.
  • 7:10 pm: Speech by Alessandra Villa, head of Slow Food International for Southeast Europe, entitled “Protection of biodiversity and the experiences of Southeast Europe”, followed by the first course of the menu.
  • 7:45 pm: Speech by Dino Babić, spokesperson of the Slow Food Community in Istria, who will talk about “Safeguarding the agro-food heritage in Istria – the experience of Vodnjan”, folowed by the second course of the menu.
  • 8:20 pm: Speech by Mia Hrnić, project manager of the Dubrovnik Territorial Development Agency partner, entitled “Interreg Central Europe Slow Food”. Afterwards, dessert will be served.

Moderator for the evening: Ilario Schettino, head of the Economic-Commercial Office of the Italian Embassy.
