Awarding ceremony of the 5th “SvE.V.O. Prize” competition, reserved for extra virgin olive oils produced in the territories of Sannicandro di Bari and neighbouring municipalities.
The competition aims to enhance the territory by stimulating producers in the sector, such as olive growers and oil mills, to improve the quality of the extra virgin olive oils produced in the territory of Sannicandro di Bari and the nearby municipalities (Acquaviva delle Fonti, Binetto, Bitetto, Bitritto, Cassano, Cellamare, Grumo Appula, Sammichele, Santeramo, Toritto). Promoting knowledge and study of quality agricultural production, enhancing the role of the taster, promoting the dissemination of health and nutritional aspects of quality extra virgin olive oils.
