The Italian version of ATLANTE DELL’ANTROPOCENE (ATLAS OF THE ANTROPOCENE), produced in France by SCIENCES PO University, has just been published.
It effectively summarises the transformations that the Earth is undergoing as a result of mankind (in an era that scientists call “the age of man”) with such great force and speed that it rivals the most powerful telluric forces. The ATLAS deals with all the subjects that concern these transformations, which are constantly accelerating under the influence of man, and the various chapters deal with the many aspects: from ozone to climate, from biodiversity to pollution, from the population explosion to the fluctuating policies of contrast. Illustrative charts on the various issues and clear maps accompany each chapter, allowing stimulating in-depth studies. The presence of the authors and other Italian and French researchers who are experts on the subject make the webinar particularly interesting.
