Slow Food Dolny Slask Convivium seeks to promote the local culinary heritage and forgotten tradition of the Lower Silesian Figurative Pepperbread, locally known as Piernik Figuralny, an Ark of Taste product.

Lower Silesia has its medieval tradition of many types of Piernik which dates back to the 13th century. The aim of this event, hosted by Agata and Leszek Rozanski, two ceramic artists and molds collectors, is to reenact this old tradition of making fancy ornamental figurative pepperbreads. During the workshop, a local group of artists, cooks and farmers will make figurative pepperbreads and present their handmade artisanal ceramic molds.
