On Sunday the Reggia di Venaria celebrates the beginning of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto with a special day in its wonderful Gardens.
From 10.30 am you can visit the Potager Royal accompanied by the Royal Palace gardeners and Slow Food trainers.
At 12 noon, the Gardens in front of the Sala di Diana will host a special concert by the Terra Madre Orchestra: an international artistic and musical community, conducted by Simone Campa, which for the occasion involves 10 musicians from Africa, India, Europe, South America and the Middle East.
The concert is also streamed live on the website and social pages of the Reggia di Venaria.
Starting at 11am the Botanical Curiosities Grove and the Patio dei Giardini will host some producers from the Slow Food network who will be offering their specialities for tasting and sale.
At 1pm the space comes alive with an aperitif to music that brings together the Terra Madre Orchestra and the producers. For the occasion, the Reggia cafeteria offers visitors sandwiches made with selected products offered by Slow Food.
During the day, Slow Food trainers animate the workshops “Discovering biodiversity”.
