This digital edition of Terra Madre is a great opportunity to strengthen the capacities of our network in these incredibly challenging times.
Over the last few months we have received multiple calls to improve our skills as a grassroots civil society organization, to distinguish ourselves better in an increasingly competitive environment.
In December we are planning three separate training sessions dedicated to our leaders and communities who wish to learn more about impact evaluation, digital communication, and fundraising, and improve their skill sets.
Every Wednesday, from 5:00 to 6:00 Central European Time, you’ll have the chance to improve your skills by listening and interacting with selected trainers with years of practical experience in their fields.
Joris Lohman – member of Slow Food Executive committee – will guide you through techniques and best practices for fundraising with private companies. Nowadays enterprises are switching from sponsorship to partnership, and building long-term relations is key for their sustainability targets. You will also hear from Scott Steen – leader of Slow Food in the Tetons – who will explain their current fundraising strategy, which has been a successful one so far.
You will come away with:
- A better understanding on how to approach private companies for support;
- A better understanding on how to retail their support over time;
- Concrete tips on how to move in a complex environment through easy-to-implement practices.
