A journey from the farm to the fork discovering the rich and diverse banana varieties of Bantul, Indonesia, where the banana has a special meaning to our culture.
Join us as we discover how to safeguard and promote our banana diversity that not only is nutritious but a favourite fruit to the world. This is a collaboration with Tumbuh Hgh School (THS) that has a similar objective that we must educate people about food, especially on gastronomic diversity of local foods of Bantul. This in turn will help us build our food sovereignty and security. We invite everyone to join us online where you will hear from local farmers, youth, chefs and elders of indigenous communities showing how we can act for a greener eco plate! The webinar will be in both Bahasa and English.
