Have you ever wondered whether Italian extra virgin olive oil is the best in the world? But when extra virgin olive oil “stings in the throat” is it acidic? Is a green or yellow extra virgin oil better?
These are just some of the questions that will be answered during the tasting organised by our convivium in collaboration with Frantoio D’Erchie; the meeting will be attended by Ciro D’Erchie, whose production of Coratina has been recognised as a Great Oil by the panel of experts and tasters of Slow Food; his oil has distinguished itself for particular qualities from an organoleptic point of view and because it well reflects territory and cultivar. The nutritional values and healthy functions of oil will be some of the elements of the speech by nutritionist Michele Sozio. A journey into this world will be made easier thanks to the stories and analyses of Giuseppe Barretta, an expert in food and wine, in collaboration with Franco Peluso, moderator of the evening. During the evening it will be possible to taste the three monovarieties of the D’erchie oil mill: Coratina – Frantoio and Leccino.
It is possible to book the kit by sending a whatsapp message to the number 392-6761361.
