An encounter linked to the oil cultivar of this area of Calabria. Through the historical reconstruction of its arrival in the high Ionian Sea thanks to the Basilian monks we will tell the characteristics of the cultivar and its organoleptic qualities. We will also deepen the economic and financial value of the olive tree cultivation, we will learn how to taste the extra virgin olive oil and we will analyze the oil-food combinations.
