As part of Terra Madre 2020, the Inidgenous Terra Madre network of Slow Food organizes a set of training courses to:
Increase awareness across the Slow Food network of the importance of protecting biodiversity and promoting the role that this plays in guaranteeing the rights of indigenous peoples;
Provide participants with a vision of the tools that Slow Food has put into action and their application in the field by leaders in the Indigenous Terra Madre network.
The training courses are held on Zoom between October and December 2020, and are composed of eight modules of an hour each. The course is repeated twice a week to guarantee access to people in different time zones:
- every Wednesday at 11.00 a.m. CET for those in Asia (languages available: EN and RU)
- every Friday at 5.00 p.m. CET for those in Europe, Africa and the Americas (languages available: EN and ES)
The training course can host a maximum of 20 participants. By registering, each participant commits to following the full program over the eight weeks.
People selected to take part will receive a confirmation email.
