What is animal welfare?

This meeting will discuss what is meant by sustainable animal husbandry between science and jurisdiction. The following speakers will participate and give presentations:

-A. Palmieri – University of Molise – “De esu carnium”. The ritual slaughter between animal welfare and religious minorities protection
-R. Saija – University of Reggio Calabria – “Conformed” practice of hunting: an oxymoron?
-F. Celentano – University of Bari – Animal Welfare, Science and Law in the International and European Perspective
